Hi !

 

My native language isn't english, so I'm sorry for any mistake I make.

 

So, I'm trying to mod a little Mass Effect 3. I'm completely new at this. I already installed some of the mods hosted on Nexus, mostly story ones. Now, I'm trying to put some male strippers in the Purgatory. And I'm using ME3Explorer, though I also downloaded TexMod.

 

I tried a lot of things, but the first thing that had a visible effect without crashing the game was when I used Meshexplorer and extracted the HMM_ARM_NKDb_MDL.psk (the model of Kaidan in his undies, that inclues his head), so I didn't have to change faces and hair styles. I then replaced HMF_ARM_NKD_MDL.psk (the female strippers model) with HMM_ARM_NKDb_MDL.psk in BioA_CitHub_Wards.pcc, BioA_CitHub_WardsDECO.pcc and BioA_CitHub_WardsDECO3.pcc.

 

It worked, but it changed EVERY female strippers. Which is not what I'm looking for, since I want strippers of both sex. The texture was also all messed, but I didn't try to change that yet since I didn't want every female stripper to become a male one. So I just reversed everything. I also saw that simply putting the model of Kaidan in his undies, didn't hide the strippers' head, so I extracted HMM_ARM_NKDa_MDL.psk (the model of male-Shepard in his undies).

 

Not knowing how to change just one or a few of the NPCs, without changing every NPC using the same body MDL, I decided to replace the bodies every male human civilian of the Purgatory (you know the ones who use the same model as Dominic Osoba and Udina) with the body of Shepard in his undies. It would also change the ones in the same floor as the Purgatory, but are actually outside the Purgatory, but whatever, let's say they're advertising for the bar.

 

So I went to Asset Explorer, and I extracted the textures of HMM_ARM_NKDa and NKDb. I extracted many textures of these models, because I needed some different file sizes to match the ones used by HMM_ARM_CLHc (which is the male human civilian model). So I changed it in BioA_CitHub_Wards.pcc, BioA_CitHub_WardsDECO.pcc and BioA_CitHub_WardsDECO3.pcc

 

Problem is, while the body model is okay, the textures are still all messed up. I think it's because of the invidual "colorations" (or whatever you call that). Because, even if every NPC using the same MDL.psk seem to use the same base texture too, they also use invidiual ones or whatever, since they're not all the same color (should have figured that out, but I hoped my changes would overlay this or whatever).

 

Now, I'm at a loss...

 

So my questions are : How do I change that ? Where do I find those individual textures for the invidual coloration of each NPC ?

Or better yet : How do I change a single NPC without changing every character using the same models ?
