Staxweb
Greetings, I just bought Fallout 3 GOTY on Steam yesterday and would like to get some mods on it. Right now, I've got the Mod Manager, FO3edit and FOSE loaded and that's all. Now, I want to put MMM, WMK, FWE, and FOOK2 1.1 I also want EVE (though I read somewhere that its included in FOOK2 now? so in that case, do I need to download it separately at all?) My questions come from FOIP. I'm trying to figure out which downloads I need from FOIP to get the mods I listed above all working together. One concern is the fact that I want MMM and FOOK2...but the FOIP Patch for that says it isn't updated for the most recent FOOK2 yet. Would anyone mind possibly giving me a step by step on which FOIP patches i need to download, and then possibly if there are any other mods you'd recommend? I don't want to screw anything up, and I've never seen a game that was so indepth (at least it appears to be) to install modifications. (also, I downloaded CALIBR and installed it because I saw it mentioned, does that come with one of these mods already, or was I correct in getting it seperately?) Bedeage
FWE and FOOK are no longer compatible in their current forms - there are no compatibility patches for them. Therefore either use FOOK, or use FWE+MMM+WMK. If you just use FOOK you don't need FOIP patches obv. If you use the others, you need all the FOIP patches that apply to them - just look on the FOIP downloads page and get the ones you need. CALIBR comes with FWE, but there's no harm in adding it yourself either. Finally you would do well to move FO3 out of your Program Files folder if that's where Steam is installed, search for info on how to do that if necessary.
