1. As far as viewing distance goes, you have two options:

A. Really Almost Everything Viewable When Distant , or

B. More Than Everything Viewable When Distant

It depends on your hardware. You could try option B, but unless you've got some insanely strong hardware, you're going to want to go with option A. Option A still increases the distance at which you can view objects in high detail by a good bit, without killing your performance.

 

2. A mod that goes well with either of the above mods is Shaja's Landscape LOD Texture Replacer. It greatly increases the level of detail on items that are outside of your close range viewing range. While the above mod increases the range at which the game renders objects with close range detail, this mod increases the level of detail of objects that are still far enough away that they are given the long range level of detail. If you don't know what I mean by this, just take my word for it and download this too.

 

3. Enhanced Water does wonders, and looks absolutely gorgeous. When you unzip the files, you will have the option for a standard definition or high definition version. As long as you have a fairly decent gaming computer that can run the game relatively smoothly on higher settings, I would go with the High Definition version.

 

4. Enhanced Weather is an absolutely gorgeous mod, that comes conveniently packaged in "omod ready" format. You don't even need to unzip it. Make sure that you install it this way. If you don't know how, I'll explain. It's very simple. In Mod Manager, click "create". A window will pop up, and you will see another option titled "add archive". Click that, and locate the file that you just downloaded from the link. Click it, and install. Very simple. I didn't know how to do this up until about a couple of months ago, and it has made installing mods so much easier. This can be done for any file that has a folder titled "omod conversion data". Again, let me repeat, you do not even need to unzip the file to install it this way.

 

5. Get Wet is a great aesthetic mod that makes it where whenever your character gets wet, either from rain or swimming, that you will actually see visible water droplets rolling down your characters armor and skin. It looks very good.

 

6. For character detail, download both Natural Faces and Danis13's Beauty Patch. Natural Faces increases the level of detail for character faces, and the Beauty Patch is an update for Natural Faces that makes them look even better.

 

7. Real Lava is a great texture replacer for all lava in the game. It actually makes the lava look like lava, instead of looking like "red soup"(authors description). Not to mention, it is gorgeous.

 

8. Everything by Mtgr. I'm not giving links for this, because there would be alot of them, but thankfully it doesn't take that long to install because all of his mods are in omod format. Just go to tesnexus and do a search for "mtgr" and all of his mods will pop up. Download them all.

 

Those are the graphics mods that I use. Also, if you aren't using any of the basic mods such as Exnems Female Body Replacer or Roberts Male Body Replacer, you should really get on that. I didn't include links for those two because honestly those are popular mods and shouldn't be that hard to find.
