MidnightZ7
I'm using a mod called "Death souls", a mod that allows for revival of the player character using dragon souls. -This is the only death mod I have found so far that is reliable (doesn't glitch out when reviving you or mess something else up) and doesn't make you feel like you got away unpunished. Makes a Hardcore playthrough actually possible. But the problem is using souls to unlock shouts is very costly and risky. One might never get around to actually unlocking a shout. I noticed that "Skyrim Unbound", an alternate start mod, actually has this feature, but only if you disable all dragons. The author took that mod down, but I have a copy of the files (also a loose scripts version). So the Script or whatever that unlocks shouts instantly is somewhere in there (you wouldn't even have to do it yourself, just copy it from there) but I have absolutely no idea how to even navigate through these files. If there is anyone out there who could help me with this I'd really appreciate it. Edit: And sorry for screwing up the title. *them. Valkasha
Finding a word of power is relatively rare, couldn't you add a point with the console in these rare instances? Edited September 23, 2014 by Valkasha

I don't know if this is my f*ck up, but with Words of Power I mean the words you collect from word walls. For example Fus. (Although that one is teached to you by the Greybeards, I know)
Valkasha
Exactly. There's only around 50 of those with all DLC included and you probably won't encounter more than two per day unless you deliberately hunt them down.

As if 50 lives were not good enough a reason for this mod to be made. :| Also adding dragon souls with the console doesn't really work actually. If you set av it just says you have 2 dragon souls for example, but then you die as if you didnt have any souls and you cant unlock shouts because you dont have any, apparently. And if you force av you have to force a new av manually everytime you spend or receive a soul iirc.
Valkasha
Use modav, that actually adds souls instead of setting a number. Modav even progresses the first main quest for people with the dragon soul bug. Edited September 23, 2014 by Valkasha
MidnightZ7
Well, this will make it somewhat bearable if no one responds to fix the problem, thanks. I also contacted the mod author of Death Souls, but I don't expect him to reply, as this thread is my first to merely have someone reply. I don't suppose you have any experience with modding the game? Edited September 23, 2014 by MidnightZ7
Valkasha
The only mods I released so far are in my signature, working on a much larger project though. A mod you might find interesting is dragon blood: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36812/?It will give you some extra incentive to go dragon hunting. MidnightZ7
Nah, thanks but I don't need that, I already have 11 unspent perkpoints because nothing I want is leveled up high enough. And I'm OP again already, which makes me want to start over and configure all my difficulty settings. Requiem is great but the idea of deleveling the world is stupid, really. It just makes it so that you ALWAYS get into unfair fights, either you can take tens of thousands of hits while the enemy only needs one or vice versa. *going off topic* I'll add it to my tracking list though, there's a good chance I'll need it some day, thanks. But right now the only thing I need is getting shouts for free, Do you have any friends or so that can assist me with this? It should be a matter of five minutes for someone who knows their way around I feel. Edited September 23, 2014 by MidnightZ7
Valkasha
I have a day off tomorrow and was planning on doing some modding. I'll probably have a look and see if I can find a way to do this, I have an idea in mind and if it works(if the word walls work the way I think they do) it shouldn't be too difficult. I don't have any experience with word walls though so no promises :)
