shaklee1
Both the readme and the description on Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors says to install it into the override folder but I can't get it to show up on the Character Generation in-game. There are two core\override folders; one in My Documents and another in my Program Files (I have the Steam version of Dragon Age, if that helps) but neither seem to work. I have no other mods that give hair, eyes, skin tones .etc. so that can't be the problem. All the other mods I've downloaded into the override folder (in My Documents) work just fine, it's just Pineappletree's that won't work. I'd appreciate any and all help, since I'd love to get this mod working. Thanks!

As for Steam, it does not play well with others, , and I learned that from when I had that version. I have since switched to a regular copy of the game (DVD) and the mods work well. If someone has gotten them to work with Steam the could probably tell you more, but if it's like the Half Life games then the MyDocuments folder should do the trick. shaklee1
I'll keep trying then. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong since the folder itself has a few sub-folders in it. Thanks for the reply!
DarkeWolf
As long as its not more than three subfolders past override, it's not a problem. If the structure goes something like override/folder/folder2/folder3/ it will be ok.If it goes something like override/folder/folder2/folder3/folder4/folder5/ the folders (in red) will not be detected by the game. Also, are you running any other chargen mods (mods that add hairs, eyes, skins, etc) to the game, that you've installed previously? if so, then you've got a chargenmorph.xml conflict, and would need to compile the two xml files into one. Terra Ex has released an excellent program for this. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=971just make sure that you have it set to merge the two (or more) files and delete the old ones. If you're not running any other chargen mods, is your chargenmorphcfg.xml file for PT's located there in your override folder along with the mod? When I was trying to get PT's mod working, I didn't have any other mods that altered the character generation. Since I now have two mods that alter the character generation (More Hairstyles and CC Tints and Tones, which work), I tried installing PT's mod and giving Terra Ex's program a go. It said they compiled into one XML file but PT's mod still refuses to work. I decided to give PT's mod a miss for now, I'm assuming it's not too compatible with Steam. Thanks for your help, guys. DarkeWolf
I'm curious as to if you have your STEAM version set to allow it to auto-update. If so, there's known issues with the tints and tones from PT's getting blocked by patch 1.03.Unfortunately, there's no way to uninstall patch 1.03 without completely reinstalling the entire game
