This may not be what happens to you, but it sounds like to me your excitement level has exploded and you want to do this and do that, and its really getting you going. Problem with that is of course after a while it will dawn on you that you that you've over reached and don't have a coherent plan to bind all the different things you've started to do. You will then become discouraged and stop, maybe even before you get something workable out. Then again, maybe not. Either way, I suggest starting small, expand out. Instead of making a gigantic 2-3 gig omod project that replaces most of everything in oblivion vanilla create and complete separate replacers. Seems like your original idea was good. Do Valenwood. Complete it, put it on maintenance mode, move on to the next thing you want to tackle. Eventually if you stick with this for a couple years you will have an entire package. We can use your entire vision or we can pick and choose which replacers to use.

martinthemage
Yes, don't sprint before you can run. Most projects just fail near the beggining, but if you get it done bit by bit it could work. Maybe a part of your mod could be brightening up the Imperial City for example. You could start by one District, then decide if your idea is good or not. If it is, move on
