danscott84
Ok, I made a quick playthrough and went like normal. However, I think I know the trigger that might be missing. After you kill Beraht, does Leske go into the "Hail to the sodding king" dialogue? If he doesn't, then it might be a dialogue issue with him. And since Beraht's death triggers that, if it doesn't trigger, then the cutscene would not either since it also hinges on you telling the guards and shaper that you killed Beraht. Well, he doesn't say that ( I don't think)...he just says 'you went right in and sodding slaughtered them'!.... Maybe I will have to do another run through... He says the Hail thing right after that. Ok, I'm stumped then as to why it's not triggering.

I was looking for a humble origin...city elf is the next best thing...
SpellAndShield
Hah! I got it to work...don't know why though. I did the sequence differently... Instead of smashing the guard's head against the bars I picked his pocket...did everything else the same... And it worked...collecting darkspawn blood right now.....

mcgoy
Start removing one by one until you find the one that is a problem. Just adding a sword probably isn't it, but since you say 'heavily modded', it is probably the one that allowed you to pick the guards pocket without triggering his conversation.
