enclave1488
Hey folks, I downloaded a new mod last week, called Zombie Apocalypse, which some of you may have played before (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10346 )Anyways, I have had no issues with the current mods I am running. But with Zombie Apocalypse, I am having issues saving in certain places, such as Megaton and the trainyard NE of Arefu. Not sure why, but I have disabled every addon I run, just to run Zombie Apocalypse and I still encountered crashes during saving ( after the zombies had spawned etc...)I don't think my loadorder is the issue or any mod, because like I said, I ran it with every other mod turned off.And like I mentioned, with every other mod I usually run, I never have crashes during saving or any crashes at all.If one of you could perhaps download Zombie Apocalypse and maybe take a look at it in the G.E.C.K and see if the addon has some wrongly configured settings or w/e, I would appreciate it.I would do it, but I am not a modder and my knowledge on the G.E.C.K is very limited.I left a comment on the author's site, but I don't think he is checking his comments atm.So I have turned to you all, for clues.I really love that mod and would be grateful if someone could figure out, how I can solve the issue of my game crashing when I save in Megaton and the other mentioned zone  Thanks :teehee:
Quetzlsacatanango
If it crashing everytime, you need to run FO3edit master update. The instructions on how to do so are on the fo3edit description page.
Metalizerus
If it crashing everytime, you need to run FO3edit master update. The instructions on how to do so are on the fo3edit description page. this replay is useless. first of all, this method doesnt work, atleast for me. and second, you could give a link to this "description page", the search option dont show it. Quetzlsacatanango
Sorry for not holding your hand in my useless "replay". How do you know it doesn't work if you don't know where the instructions are?Search nexus for fo3edit, you will see a description tab. Read it.If you can't be bothered to expend the slightest effort to help yourself, why would anyone else?
Daecat
I use that zombie mod and have no problem with the other hundred mods I use, so I can't say if there's a problem with the that mod itself, but maybe some of the mods you installed previously made it weird. Even if you disable mods, some can make changes to the game that will not be reversible just by disabling them. Maybe the crashes have to do with the amount of zombies if your comp can't handle it. Also I have heard some people have problems with that mod when running on Vista. Too many variables to name, heh. I know there's a workaround to save crashes. It may not be a fix though but you can try if you find nothing else. Some people say to kill yourself once in the game and that should temporarily fix crashes on save. this replay is useless. How would you know if the reply is useless? You're not even the one asking for help. Maybe useless to you if you don't know how to run MaterUpdate, but not useless to other people who can take time to learn, or in the least ask for more details.
