You can get friendly but you have to cheat. There are only 5 gifts for him so unless you use the Beguiler to get him started or Innodils Pocket Plane and reset the merchants until you get enough gifts you won't likely be able to do it.

Isn't Loghain got the easiest dialog options in the game and gives you easy approvals? I suggest try to obtain the maps in your travels as it is his favourite gift.

there are also gifts that you can give to any of your companions you just need to save them or use the console or as rustyblade suggested :thumbsup:

 

or if you have feastday gifts/pranks you can just buy a lot of cake ect. from bohdan

That's not it. I can give him all the gifts in the world but even at 100+ he is still just warm...I want to get him to friendly status if this is possible?

i don't think so dude , not unless there is a mod tweaks but as far as i know there is no mod for loghain that actually makes him friendly in game or atleast i haven't found one yet :biggrin: ....

Perhaps I have a mod or multiplicity of mods that is messing things up but I know for a fact the one and only time I let Nobrain live, I got him to friendly. I distinctly remember it because I was ticked off that Al was at +90 and was only warm so I said screw it and let him go and got even more bent out of shape when Rogain hit friendly.

i tried using the console and feast gifts and tried every dialogue but my loghain , still on warm approval dunno about everyone else's may be it's just my game and stardusk or am i missing something....?

I don't think that you could get past warm. I remember that I read somewhere that it is only Loghain that would reach warm. So the maximum approval you could reach is warm.

Then or now? I know that at least half of the mods I had then are no longer installed. I do remember that run through being broken badly enough that I didn't even bother taking it to the archdemon (was in my early days of adding mods to this game.) If I had to guess though I would say it was equal love or the other one (not sure which one I was using then) was in conflict with one or more other mods as there were gender glitches and dialogue screw-ups popping up everywhere. It is possible that I could never repeat it if I tried and now that I have read the Calling I know I never will (try.)
