Campaigner Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 I'm working on making NPCs for my recent "Plane of Madness" mod, to make it less empty, and I need a bit of help with this because I can't figure out how to get some of these things to work. 1. Falling NPC from the sky. I place them high into the air, and mark them with AbAtronachFlameEffect so I can see where they fall. However, I find them standing on the ground, rather than falling to their death. 1.EDIT; Figured out the problem, I needed to load in Administrator because it wouldn't save properly otherwise. Blasted Windows 7 UAC. 2. I want to make a dead NPC who is skewered by a spike pit, but I can't figure out how to make the NPC's body lay flat on the ground so I can properly put it in the spikes. I also can't find the spike trap editor ID. 3. Scripting question; When I mark an NPC with the AbAtronachFlameEffect ability, the flames fade when the target dies. Is there a way I can make a dead NPC keep the flaming effect? 4. I want to create an NPC who is so light that, when hit and killed, he flies off into the distance at a reasonable pace (fast enough for comic relief, slow enough for the eye to follow). How do I do that? 5. I placed a few creatures in so far. One is a Flesh Atronach that I want to be green, however his model list has nothing green available. Are there any ways to make him green without using new models? 6. Similar to above, I also have a Gnarl that I want to be yellow. I know there's an effect shader for a yellow glow, but it's far too weak. How do I make a custom yellow glow? 7. I want to add some enormous slaughterfish to the waters, but every time I increase their scale, they just stay where I put them, and don't react to the player or move. How do I make them large and still have them recognize and attack the player? 8 I want to create an invisible dog that uses the ShaderAnvilMGPetImp ability, so that all you see is some wierd burnt effect floating around to symbolize the dog's existence. How do I accomplish this? 9. Less of an NPC request, but there's an NPC in my mod already called Glow-Beak. He's an Argonian with a glowing face. I don't remember how I got the face, and every time I try to recreate it ingame, it never looks as good. How can I export his face and color scheme into a save file, much like the ones on the site that let you look like Uriel Septim, Gray Prince, etc?
