bben46
I have seen many posts claiming the OBSE caused problems. Every one turned out to be a mod that needed OBSE and not the OBSE. OBSE is not a mod, It is a script extender that adds functionality to the base game. Mods use those extensions to do things the game makers never dreamed could be done. It does NOTHING to the base game. Your problem is likely a mod that requires OBSE. You will need to uninstall (not just uncheck) mods until you find it. If it started right after you installed a particular mod, start there.
CLouDxL
yeldarb,i have UAC always disabled and have already installed oblivion on my D hardrive instead of C,i have c for the os only,so that wont solve the problem...damn the game has become unplayable The last 2 mods that i have installed are:the 3rd person dynamic camera, and a mod about a new armor, havent seen anyone complaining that those mods have caused their oblivion to crash, although i am gonna try removing some of those last mods and see what happens(btw i really appreciate that u guys are trying to help me,thank u very much) :D

yeldarb
Streamline will make your game speed(fps) more consistent, but it does require adjusting settings to work and It will change your screen resolution as you play Oblivion. Using BOSS to sort your load order is another way to prevent crashes, but you will always have to adjust the load orders on newer or handmade mods.Wrye Bash will force mods that wiil conflict to work together. The easiest way to make the game run smoother is to run a different screen resolution and playing with the video settings. I have stutters caused by shadows and multiple light sources, but I can end it by turning shadows off.

The mod itself does not have to adjust your settings if it is configured properly. StreamSmooth is the one that bothers some users with the visual settings changes. The values StreamSight alters, not so much, but some users do not like how it fog works in various situations. I still don't get it how to set up the streamline's ini....I'll try later....You can simply tweak it to match the recommendations (that you would like to follow) as you would the Oblivion.ini. There is nothing special about it. Just make sure you reinitialize Streamline from the INI (through the SL in-game menu) afterward...??
