Hey guys i just installed oblivion, as i have not played it for years. I had never modded before but decided to download and install some mods from this site. My problem is that i have done what people seem to be saying is how to install them- extract in data folder of oblivion- but although i have done this only one of the several mods i installed seems to be listed when i run oblivion and go to "data files". does this mean my mods have not installed correctly?( the only one shoing is "beautiful people", i also installed "meat" a few face textures ones, and a 1.7gb files to improve textures)

Best regards

all mods have, more or less, the same structure.

some folders, the more common are meshes and textures( notice some mods have no folder, only a plugin file). all of this folder must be putted in the oblivion/data folder.

but be carefull, some mods are packed differently, in data folder, or in a mod's name folder, so you need to look at the structure each time you install a mod.

the plugins and the master files go to the data folder too. don't forget to check them in the launcher.

and the name of the folder is "data", not "data files", it could disable your mod
