[FONTS] in Oblivion.ini - Please explain

Recommended Posts

I've recently switched to the DarkN user interface and I love it except...

The small font used in the inventory screen has a numberset that's particularly hard to read.

3's 6's, 8's and 5's all tend to look alike.

I'd like to find a better font to use.

I've loaded a few alternates into the game's fonts file, but I'm unable to determine exactly which settings I need to change in the .ini file to get them used.

My current settings are

[Fonts]

sfontfile_1=Data\Fonts\DarN_Kingthings_Exeter_28.fnt

sfontfile_2=Data\Fonts\DarN_LG_Kingthings_Petrock_14.fnt

sfontfile_3=Data\Fonts\DarN_LG_Kingthings_Petrock_18.fnt

sfontfile_4=Data\Fonts\DarN_Oblivion_28.fnt

sfontfile_5=Data\Fonts\Handwritten.fnt

Other than the difficult to read factor ...

I'd also like to change the opening menu font so that I have a darker font.

Gold on tan is hard to read as well.

I'm assuming that this is NOT a font issue per se but if anyone could tell me how to adjust it, that'd be great!
