"None of the master files used in this save game are loaded"

That is the message I get when I try to load my game. I've reinstalled oblivion and I've made sure everything is checked. I've unchecked all my mods and still didn't work. What shall I do?

My os is Win7 if that is any indication to any problems.

Check your data list - if any of the master files (.esm) are unchecked that will cause this. Also, if you have installed a mod that needs a master from another mod - read the documentation from all of the mods you installed recently to see. Remember, all esm files must be loaded before any esp files. And the Oblivion.esm must always be the first one loaded.

The game data files are not in load order. In order to see the actual load order and be able to change it you will need OBMM or Wrye Bash.

Have you tried loading an older version of your save game (presuming that you keep them periodically)? If so does it have the same problem.

You could also use Wrye Bash to look at the list of masters your save game thinks it needs...

I loaded an older save and that worked but then came up with the same message when I tried to load it afterwards.

How do I do that on wrye bash?

Wrye Bash has tabs labelled installers,mods,SAVES,screenshots,etc...Click on saves to bring up a list of your saved games. Select a saved game and left click on your mouse to bring up the options.
