Weynon Priory Crash (the sequel)

So I've been installing mods for the last few days, seeing what I like and what I don't, being careful about readmes and whatnot. I got OBMM, OBSE and Wrye Bash. I've learned a basic understanding of the three of them, I think. I'm still really new at this, after all - I played Oblivion when it came out, on my friend's computer, and just used her mods... I hadn't installed or used my own until I got my new computer and found my old Oblivion disk.

 

Anyway, I am suddenly having issues accessing Weynon Priory. I was able to do it toward the beginning of the game when I went to see Jauffre, but that was before I downloaded some pretty big mods - Better Cities, TNR, Cobl, etc. Now, when attempting to lead Martin to Weynon Priory and start the Weynon Priory quest chain, I get about two seconds of the red-robed assassins running toward me and then the game crashes. Repeatedly. I tried going with and without Martin. I tried waiting 12 hours, with and without Martin. Tried going to the stables nearby and crashed there too. Inside Chorrol (I think that's the town it's near, right?) is fine, but once I leave, the game crashes.

 

It might be Better Cities, I suppose, but so far no other cities crash like that for me. If anyone would be willing to glance over my load list and see if I've got obviously conflicting mods or bad load-orders, I'd really appreciate it. If it's not a problem with conflicting mods (and I've been pretty careful to make sure I'm downloading only mods that will work with what I already have, or getting rid of the ones that won't work, including overwriting all the data files old mods have changed by unpacking the BSAs in OBMM) then I'm not sure what I can do. I've seen mention of tweaking the INI file, but I'm not sure how to do that.

IIRC Knights needs to be lower down your load order, near the bottom. I've never used Better Cities but I do believe I've heard it causes crashes. Try BOSS (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) to whip your install into shape.

I did as you said, and that seems to have cleared everything up with the Weynon Priory crashes! I think it may also have helped with some other things I was trying to work out too. Thanks much!
