Natural Environment problem

Hey I'm having major problems after installing this mod. What happens is that once I unpack the the .zip file into the data folder the game simply won't start. The launcher boots up normally and once I cklick the play button nothing happens the launcher disapperars the mouse briefly flickers into the mouse with hourglass and then nothing no window with Oblivion. Disabling the mod via the launcher dosn't resolve the issue. I've even tried chasing down all the NE files and deleting them manually but that's a no go as well. The only way to fix the problem is to reinstall the game. It's a shame because of all the mods this is one of the most important ones for me. I've reinstalled the game several time now and other mods seem to work. I've successfully installed Werewolf: Legends of the North OMOD using the OBMM manager and the game worked fine after that. Any thoughts on this? If it helps I have the game of the year edition. For some reason the patches won't install either on this version something about not being able to proceed because it's unable to overwrite a file because the original file isn't there. Thanks for any help :)

Download and use BOSS TESNexus php?id 20516. This program will automatically sort your load order and gives you a readout that has tips and warnings for the mods you use. Learn how to use Wrye Bash (TESNexus php?id 22368) When you get to a certain number of mods on your game you wiill have constant ctd's unless you have this utility.P.S. the "GOTY" version is almost always patched to 1.20416 if you have installed both of the discs.Do you use OBSE and some of the plug-ins for it yet?

I'll right I'll try BOSS and see what happens. My problem isn't really a ctd though. It's as if the game never starts. I click play and the oblivion folder pops up nothing more. As for OBSE it won't install because I apparently have the wrong patch. For some reason I can use mods that install themselves via omod or pure esm files but anytime I have to manually overwrite something to install a mod the problem happens

 

Edit: Alright it seems my problem was a virus. I scanned my computer, got rid of all the offending viruses, and installed everything using mod manager. Thanks for helping out anyway.
