ok i understand you need to pm for permission ive done that. but for example i down load the aquaruim mod from nexus. activate. put into data file. then go to geck find the model put into my mod. then when i test it the aquarium it doesnt show up in game. what step am i missing. also i do an invalidate before launch. this little prob is turning into a 2 day research project ive run out of utube wiki and geck info to read not asking to be takin by the hand just pushed in the right direction. thanks for reading. jason

I don't really know much about modding, but have you tried using this mod on it's own? Without being in your mod? If there's an .esm file (say for example, Anchorage.esm) included with the mod, have you made sure it's ticked? Could it require FOSE, something you may or may not have? Could the Load Order be overwriting the mod? And finally, one more thing.

You say that you've activated it and THEN put it into your data folder, but I don't think it's possible - to my knowledge - to do that. If you can find the model, there must be some Meshes / Textures that show up in the GECK, but in-game, it might not show up because you haven't actually activated the .esp and .esm (if there is one) files.

That's all I can think of.

first off thanks for taking the time to reply i am greatful

ok the load order idea was awsome didnt even think of the overwrite problem

second, i should have been more clear about how i get the mod from site, to game,. I download, then data folder, and last its in the game.

the mod im using isnt really a mod i can use in my game alone an aquairum was used in underground hideout and it was a sepreate mod from his mod and i can not seem to put the same aquairum mod in to my mod as he did. i know how crazy all this sounds and i know its just one simple fix but i can not for the life of me see the problem thanks for your time i will test your overwrite thing. and if it doesnt work, continue with my trial and error methods. thanks again jason
