Knark
Every time I try to go to tesnexus.com I get "Problem Loading Page" and "Server Not Found" with the yellow triangle and "!" inside it (anyone using firefox should understand). Normally, I would assume it's just server downtime or something but this has been a permanent problem for at least a week now. I've tried to connect at other people's houses and been successful. My router's firewall is turned off so I tried to connect a few times with all my personal firewalls turned off although I've had them turned on and never had any problems before but turning them off changed nothing. I even tried to connect on another computer that was on my network and was unable to. At the moment, I am only able to log on through proxy servers so I assume my network I.P. is blocked for some reason? If there is a legitimate reason I would be curious to know it since I have no knowledge of doing anything wrong. If it is an accident then I'd truly appreciate some help in fixing it so I can continue to enjoy the wonderful mod's this site makes available. Knark
Ok...if no one can think of a solution could someone direct me to another mod website that doesn't block me for no reason?
yeldarb
If you are using the same name and password to login to these forums as you use normally, You should be able to access TESNexus. Call the company that supplies your internet access and have them fix the problem. If you are able to post then you might not have not been banned, but you can look and see if your name is on the list. Can you access Planet Elderscrolls or Bethesda Softworks-Bethesda Softworks has links to most of the sites that host mods for Oblivion.
Knark
I can log on to these forums and tesnexus only if I use a proxy. I can use planet elder scrolls with no problem. Atm, I really just want to find Wrye Bash and Oblivion Mod Manager which I can't get at Planet. The Wrye Bash website redirects to Tesnexus so that doesn't help me. Knark
Yea, I think doing it at a friends house would be the best immediate solution and I'm going to do that but I'd still like to find out what's going on with my own network to solve this in the long term. Anyway, sometimes there are no solutions so if no one has a flash of brilliance and my ISP isn't any help I guess I'll work with what I got. TabuKuroshi
Did you try restarting your modem and/or renewing you IP? I'm not trying to help someone get around a ban, if that is the case here. Under groups his says members and normally says banned.
Vagrant0
It would help if you would PM a member of staff with your IP so that we can take a look and see if you were banned and why. Using a proxy is a bad idea, and is not suggested, banned or no. The current proxy you are using is blacklisted in some of those places which keeps track of abusive proxies, and will likely be banned here, along with other proxies, as well. If you were banned, and an IP ban no less, there's no point in trying to hide who you are or going around a ban since it will only create more problems for you and hurt your chances for any reinstatement. You should have really contacted staff from the start if you had done nothing wrong.

You should have really contacted staff from the start if you had done nothing wrong. Look, I know nothing about proxy's, no idea that they get blacklisted or anything. All I know is that at Proxy.org there's a list of hundreds of proxy websites and I just pick one to get here. I'd have to use one to PM you also so I can't help using a proxy. Also, in my opinion, I'm not banned and I'm not trying to hide anything. Since you're staff I'll take your advice and send you a PM. Please get back to me with any information that could help resolve this. I'd mostly like to eliminate the possibility that it's your side that's the problem so I can focus on what's broke in my network.
