Bad Hair Day

Most NPCs have this radiation/cancer kid hair. What's causing this?

tell me, do you have a mod that changes the sizes of heads? because it looks like most of the hair is inside the head, which means that the head is bigger than it should be.....

basically, try isolating any mod that could change the looks of chars, and try disabling them one at a time, and see if this solves the isseu

To be honest, I have no idea. I used/tried way too many mods and some of them might change sizes, I just want to fix it and don't mind using another mod so long as it fixes the problem.

and, did you change any esthetic mod (mod that could change the body\head) after the problem started? if so, please do mention which

without knowing which mods you have used, i don't think anything could help, aside from re-installing the game....

wait, are you running Ling's Pretty Things with Project Beauty at the same time?

because these two aren't compatible

so if you do run both of them, then turn one off

 

the reason i'm asking, is because i'm not sure what each of the Lings .esp file is

what is LingDLC??

 

another thing, not about your problem, is that you might want to play a little with your load order, just to make sure that the mods that should be last, are really last in the load order

i think that all the FWE and EVE esp files should be last in the order

but that's just FYI

Hmm, I didabled Lings PrettyThings and Lings PrettyThings-BrokenSteel and that seems to have done the trick. Weird though since I have ProjectBeauty loading after, I figured they would override. No other problems that I've noticed, everything else seems fine - except that my own hands and head are freakin huge but I can live with that. lol

and i am more than glad to help you

 

now, about the hands, if you use the Type3 body, than there is the mod that makes the hands smaller, which could solve the big hand problem

for the heads, i'm afraid i don't know what to say.....

Both Lings.ESM and the projectbeauty esms effect the race entries and will cause a conflict resulting in your bad hair day.

 

If you would like to use both Lings and PB, then replace the PB esm's with the Non-HD esp version. That version does not contain the race entries and can be used safely. Be sure to load the Lings ESP files AFTER the PB files.

 

I do this in my own install.

 

PS. LingsDLC adds cosmetics the DLC races, and allows you to play as a Mutt or swampfolk if you are into that.
