so i just got new vegas for pc. and i decided to install a ghillie mod for it. everything shows up except i cant see it. just some big red square. can anybody help me?

the mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47653/?

and this video to install:

when i use the container where the stuff is supposed to be, everything is there. but it says;

"pipos error-26

file not found"

in the place u usually see the picture it gives the error message. it shows the stats and everything, just not the picture and when i equip it i'm a giant red square with a gun poking out.

i can put it in my inventory. i can equip it. use it. but i cant see it or my character while hes wearing it....only his weapon.

i've looked around a bit on the forums but i'm not seeing anybody else with this problem with the mod. idk if its the new update or what, but the mod is the only reason i got new vegas for pc.

i really want to use it. if anybody could help me out i would appreciate it. i'm at wits end here.

and if this post isn't in the right place, my bad.

thanks in advance.

hello friend !

you r missing meshes and texture for this mod !

it's a simple problem

first start by reinstale your mod : u can do it manualy : meshes , textures folders ,and the esp go to your data folder !

i see the meshes and textures files, and theyre in the data folder. ive tried re installing it multiple times now.....theyre nif files if that makes any difference. idk much about modding as im new to all of this. everything seems like its there, but for some reason i guess the meshes just arent going across

thanks btw

Did you try toggling "ArchiveInvalidation" off-and-back-on-again?

In general a "PIP OS Error" refers to a missing "inventory icon". If the author didn't provide one, your only alternative to ignoring the message is to provide one yourself. Please see "How to make a working pipboy icon''" in the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article.

Please note the date of the previous post, and see the Nexus "Terms of Service" about not resurrecting old threads. The primary reason is that the original thread participants are seldom still around, and it is unlikely that you have exactly the same setup. Details matter. Unsolved problems are usually due to vague descriptions of symptoms without any underlying details. And unless you are providing a definitive solution or significant new solid leads towards such a solution, it does not justify resurrecting an old thread. Even in the latter case you are better off starting your own thread and providing all the details requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article.
