Thandal Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 I may be totally mis-remembering, but I noticed over the past month-or-so of playthroughs that I never have the "Kiss her" option for Leliana like I do for all the other Romance Partners once we've had the initial "Let's go to bed", or "Care to join me in my tent" scene. Unlike anyone else with whom the PC gets involved, the "Kiss" choice just never appears for her. :verymad: I'm willing to go through the whole "Remove any mods, try again" process. In fact, I've already gone a ways down that path. But so far no success. Now I'm hoping that someone with experience with the way the dialogue branches are configured and triggered can help me drill down to the problem quickly. After all, I seriously doubt that the "Extra Dog Slot" mod is the source of the issue, but you never know... (And I'm willing to be corrected and learn that for some reason, Leli never did have a "Kiss" option after that first time in Camp. I, too, usually play with DT running, but am not at the moment. Since I cannot recall just when I first noticed a) that I could kiss her, or b) when I lost that choice, I'll have to do some investigating around DT and see what happens. I also don't remember now exactly why I removed DT. I'm sure it had something to do with other mods for fixing broken dialogue branches ("Morrigan Restoration"... I believe that it had something to do with where if her approval came up too fast that it would botch up her options for kiss and bed. Perhaps thats what is causing the issue for you Thandal.I had the problem where I couldnt do anything but talk to her, even at 100% love, hardened, and all convos completed. Never did get it working right tho, even with the dialog fix that was released. That bug was related to her personal request. If you get her approval above, I think, 50 before asking her about the difference between a minstral and a bard, it will not trigger going to Marjolaine's to finish Leliana's quest. To romance her, you must have resolved her issues with Marjolaine. A good rule to follow is at Lothering, give her a gift, maybe two. Then talk to her about everything you can. This usually gets her to about 19 to 22. When you get the bronze Andraste emblem in the chantry ( behind the bookcases to the LHS) immediately talk to her again as she will just cross the 26 mark. She should then have the talk about bards. After this, the second time at the party camp she will talk about lying to you about being a bard. Thus, the personal quest is triggered and the next venture away from camp will trigger the attack by the assassins sent by Marjolaine. Once you deal with Marjolaine, then Leliana is all yours. As noted in the original post, am being offered "Let's go to bed" as a choice, (with the appropriate cut scene following selection) but not "Kiss her" (in, or out of Camp, makes no difference.) But DO have that option with any/all other Romance partners. Am about to reinstall "Dialogue Tweaks" and will let you know what happens. Thanks! Now I have to review the Readme's for all the other mods I use/want to use (MRP, ZDF, Epilogue Slides, etc.) and figure out which pieces of which to use. Sheeeeesh! Here's hoping that the 1.x patch addresses both the playability problems (CtD, dex modifiers, weapon effects, etc.) and the broken plot flags/dialogue branches!
