Deleted2061751User
My first Topic :D Well I like really like Oblivion. But theres something which is annoying me.. The sky... Not the sky itself. But the red lightning sky which appear when you approach a Oblivion gate. I've no problem with that. But I don't like that the sky appears when there's no Oblivion gates and I've completed the main quest line? Anything which fixes that? Or maybe someone could make something which fixes that? Thanks for seeing this! :) By Secuter
yeldarb
If you have a version of Oblivion that has no mods installed then download and install the 1.20416 patch for your game from Bethesda Softworks website, the patch might also be on TESNexus. The UOP (Unnofficial Oblivion Patch) available on TESNexus might fix this problem too.If you have a mod installed that changes the weather in the game then close out this Topic and start a new one in Mod Troubleshooting. madman132
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27817I made a mod that may be useful to you; The mod has a merchant which will sell, among other things, two Weather control spells to you. One will bring you Sunshine instantly, the other will get you the oblivion sky.
AltreU
Is the sky missing textures or something? Could you post an example screen shot of what you want changed?
toshiro88
if you do a search you will find that there are a few mods that eliminate oblivion weather outside of oblivion gates. which is exactly what you asked for. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9654
MikeySix
Try doing this, it seems to fix some of my weather related problems: First, travel to the nearest city and save your game. Then, start a new game, doesn't matter what race, sex you are, just name him anything and continue. use the command: "player.coc ICWaterfrontAbandonedShack" (without quotes, also just an example location) to go to an external cell. Leave the shack. It will be night time, so wait until noon. After that, load your main save game and wait or sleep 24 hours, then go back to the location of the gate. It should have fixed the bug. If not, sorry.

When got into the game the sky were still red. So I tried to fast travel to another location. The sky were normal for about 3 sec and then it began to turn red ... again... And Im hit by random crashes. My oblivion is seriusly screwed up! Theres some doors I cant go trough. A couple of shops in the Imperial city etc. The crashes is most annoying. But the sky is not making it better. When you finally want to see the sun or enjoy the moon the red sky appear. There were only 1 good thing about and that were that I could fast travel in daylight when I were vampire when the sky were there. I cant take a screen shot... though nothing seems to be wrong. No weird yellow boxes or anything. Just that blasted sky... and the crashes...
