Dustyb
I'd like to change the looks of a downloaded companion, how would I do that? Links to guides, tutorials or help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks,Dusty
Harley5by5
I changed Rhianna, this way. Open CS and click the ob.esm and your companion you wish to change. Now while you have your companion selected make it active. There is an option to do that right there. After you do that open CS all the way and go to npcs and pick yours and change and then save. It gives you a changed ESP , actually it overwrites the companion esp.
Jumonji
The easiest way to edit an NPC's face in the editor is with the right mouse button. You won't find this documented very well.. but you can drag facial features around by carefully clicking on things like a mouth corner or a lower lip with your right button, or a nose or a nostril or a cheek, etc. Feels kinda like a plastic surgeon using playdough. And the control-z character works for undoing each change. This is so much easier than using the silly sliders which usually change things I don't want changed. The sliders are only really good for textures. That's how I created Rhianna's face in the first place. -Jumonji

Jumonji
Another thing I forgot to point out - you can use the left mouse button to grab and rotate the face before editing. So, if you want to make the nose stick out further, grab it with the left button and move it left (or right) to get the face in profile, then click the tip of the nose with the right button and drag to make it longer. :) Finally, you can use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out on the face. There's not much you can't do with these three tecniques. -Jumonji
