toadlet
I've been looking online or a mod that would make Sergeant RL-3 run a little quieter. Does anyone know how I can make him run quieter? Maybe something I can do in the geck? I've never used him as a follower and would like to give it a try, but his noise in annoying. I just want to quiet him a bit. Any help would be nice.cheers.
pkleiss
You could just go to Settings --> Audio and lower the Effect or Voice volume. Since he is a mister gutsy, if you actually edited the sound he makes, you would affect every Mr.Gutsy/Handy (and possibly other robots) in the game. Or you could create a new sound object for his jet propulsion thingy and give it more attenuation and apply it just to him, but you would run into mod conflicts if released to the public. To do that, lookup the 'AudioTemplateRobotMrHandy' creature and navigate to the 'Sounds' tab. You'll see that Handys use two sound objects: NPCRobotMrHandyIdleLP & NPCRobotMrHandyMovementLPM. If you copied these and increased their attenuation at close range or in general and then made a new audio template using these new sounds, then applied it to RL-3, you would get what you are after. I'll fiddle around with him in the geck, i wouldn't mind ALL bots in game going silent TBH... cheers
