Serathi
i have started making my own oblivion mod and i hit some troubles. I have been learning by watching Youtube videos and Forums, Wikis anything that would help me push on :)I have used Blender to make my own 1handed sword model so far but now i am stuck. i know i should have something like a .nif export on my Blender but i don't. I tried downloading a NifScript (ver. 2.5.4) for Blender , but when i run it it says i should download Blender trough a website and... but on the website Blender is a .zip file so i cant really install it. What i am going for on this post is that i am seeking help to make my weapon appear in Oblivion, and i would LOVE to get help Via MSN or something so i can better tell what is wrong or where i am stuck and also safely send pictures and everything you need. :) to put it quick: I need help installing the NifScript on my blender so i can export my Mesh properly, i need help creating the Collision on my one handed Weapon, i would probably need help texturing the weapon too (already tried texturing with pictures on different ways, but always with non convincing results) and help with integrating the new "mod" with the actual oblivion.i would also like to say that i am not a complete noob and that i think of myself as a fast learner. thanks for your time and your help. <3 u all ^^
TabuKuroshi
.zip files need to be unpacked. You can use Winrar or 7z to do that, unpack them to your desktop or something. Then you can install it from there. I don't know if this helps, but I did a qucik search and found a tutorial http://www.squidoo.com/nifexport
Serathi
yea i know zip files must be unziped :) but there isnt an instal file inside. it's the entire blender as if it has already been installed and made ready for use! :D
