Samdude
Has Anybody else seen him? he just falls out of nowhere and dies. You see him in the forest outside the starting town. apparently in his diary (which I Picked up from his corpse) that he was trying to develop a flying spell. he also has three scrolls of the spell in his pocket. (dont try them.)
Povuholo
Well Morrowind is already between three and four years old, so yes many of us have seen him. He's a funny little guy. It's possible to save him from dying, by casting a slowfall spell on him. But when you try to talk to him he will only say he doesn't want to talk about it. The scrolls can be useful, if you just jump forward. Talking about fast travelling :D Maybe you have to land in the water to survive, I don't know. I think his name was Tarhiel... Stampede
Tarhiel, maybe I'm nuts here, but was that not a reference to Icarus?
Marxist ßastard
Tarhiel carries the "Scrolls of Icarian Flight." His name comes from a basketball team -- the North Carolina Tarheels. You can survive the fall by landing in deep water, providing yourself with at least one point of slowfall that won't expire by the time you reach the ground, casting any levitate spell just before you hit (EG, levitate 0 pts. for 1 sec. on self), or -- presumably -- invoking a second Scroll of Icarian Flight just before you hit. LordBronze
It's nice to know there are still new players to Morrowind, and that the game is still popular enough to attract new people. But this is very old news hehe
NinjaSalad
This little fellow almost made me not want to play, I made my character just how I wanted him, got everything I could have done in Saydaneen, then went, picked up the scroll, and tossed myself into the air to my own death. whatukno
off subject but not realy. How high do you think you can go? After a while you can't see the ground anymore so theres no frame of referance. I put my super player up up up up up for five minutes before taking the spell off and she slammed into the ground in less thain 1. That fall (almoast) killed her. course im evil like that. Povuholo
If your acrobatics level is to high you will fly up so fast you go through time and space and end up in a weird flat place.... It's called your desktop, because Morrowind has just crashed. :P I used the console to get myself an insane high acrobatics level. I jumped right up and the game crashed. This was a 6 digit number so I wouldn't worry about those any fortify acrobatics enchantements you use.... When you go up in the sky you won't find anything. Unless you believe M'aiq the Liar who says there are invisible dragons in the sky... :glare: Everything on the ground will fade because you go so far, but that's it. You won't end up in space.... o_O
