RetryAgain
I have seen many people talking about how to add abilities to awakening, something along the lines of "xml something" but I have no clue how to do that kind of stuff so I was wondering if someone could tell me how to add abilities to awakening. I want these really bad!
DarkeWolf
http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=190180&view=findpost&p=1654327&hl=awakening&fromsearch=1 what you'll need to do is add a duplicate line for the mod in the addins.xml file (located in documents/bioware/dragon age/settings folder)then change your duplicate lines from ExtendedModuleUID="Single Player" to ExtendedModuleUID="DAO_PRC_EP_1" . Now, BEFORE you do this MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ADDINS.XML FILE! Because if you screw this file up, NONE of your mods or DLC's will show up in the game.So make a copy of it to another section of your hard drive, before you start working on doing any editing to it, just in case.

DarkeWolf
What is the haze line? (sorry if its a stupid q, but i didnt think i lost any spells in awk) Luddemann, nah, its not stupid at all. The Haze line is a custom set of spells created by Toryss. Essentially, its a mod. has custom spells, and custom graphics. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=
Nhancer
Once again i come to the rescue (pats himself on the back) Basically edit the addins.xml (in the settings folder) with NOTEPAD. (mydocs, bioware, dragonage, settings)Right click on addins and go to the Edit tab -> scroll till you see the word Replace, ("find what" will appear automatically)in "Find What" type: Single Player and in "Replace" type: DAO_PRC_EP_1 and "Replace All", save file. All spells ,abilities ,weapons and armor will be transfered into Awakenings and work perfectly i might add.I tested it many times and it has always worked. PS. Make a back up of your addins xml before you do that in case you want to reverse the process. Retryagain.....do exactly how its written here word for word ,it is so easy that it makes me cry when someone says its confusing. As you click one thing the rest will become obvious ,trust me its simple.

As you click one thing the rest will become obvious ,trust me its simple. The downside to this method is that in order for stuff to work in Origins again, you have to go back in and replace DAO_PRC_EP_1 with Single Player, or replace the file with the original. (Which a lot of folks will forget about doing). If you use the method where you've got the duplicate entries, one set for each, you have them operating in both, without having to go back and change it around again once you finish DAA. Your method is definitely easier and simpler. But has a larger room for user error when it comes time to play DAO again. Either way, its which ever way you want to do it Retry.
