GECK Vault 74 Tutorial Trouble

Alright, so I started following the tutorial on the GECK wiki on building Vault 74. I've followed it exactly as far as I'm aware, up until I get to dragging my first duplicated hallway piece to the left. Right when I go to move it to the left, it drops down a couple feet for some reason. I can still move it left, but it won't snap to the grid at the same height as the original. Hope I was understandable. Does anyone know what I missed?

The snap-to-grid needs a reference to snap to. So, hold the shift & Q keys down and move the red cross hair over your first tile. When it turns white, double click to set that tile as the snap reference. Then moving other pieces with snap-to-grid on will snap together. Use a snap value of 128 for tiles. Others work, but 128 is a good value to start. You can change the snap value by clicking on the icon that looks like a hand holding a piece of paper.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I just finished building the entire highlighted area of this picture from the tutorial;

Except the little tiny section to the right of the Cave Exit and Cave Door. I don't know what that is or where to find it. I don't like how they decided not to show the name of every section in the picture but I guess it helps people become more familiar with the program. I managed to find all the unnamed pieces except that light thing. I want to get it in before I start the other end of the hallway.

If you look at the Geck Main page, there are 'Example layout Plugins' fer every lesson. You can download these and open them in the geck, then click on an unknown tile to get its name. Another useful idea is to do the same with Bethesda cells after you finish the tutorial. You can see how they put together different tile sets and learn the piece names/nomenclature and how they can fit together. I have to say, that when I was first starting, I dragged and dropped an s-load of tiles into the geck just to see what they looked like
