I *think* RnD had that feature, but you probably don't want to install that huge load of scripts and changes, so here's a mod for what you asked for: Fully Animated Potions and Meals. If you don't care for the changes to Alchemy, you might prefer Animations.

 

As a bonus, get your followers to join you with Share your meal.
