pkleiss
Did you make a copy of an existing cell to use for your bunker interior? If so, and you followed the advice of the My First Vault Tutorial, then you may have a small problem. What the tutorial doesn't tell you (and I don't know why) is that when copying a cell and removing its contents to get a blank cell, both the navmesh and the room markers don't get deleted. You have to do these separately. You can see if your cell has any left-over room markers by going to View --> Show / Hide Window and selecting 'Portals and Rooms' If you then see some big blueish boxes in your cell, click on them and hit the delete key. Room markers are used to help the render engine only render essential stuff and ignore other stuff. What the tutorial should have told you was that to make a new cell, just go to World --> Cells and right click in the list and select 'New'. That's it, you have a new cell and don't have to remove anything.

pkleiss
1) make a copy of an existing container by giving it a new ID. Then edit its base form and right click in the empty window and select New to add items to a container. 2) Once you place the skeleton, press the Havok button on the Geck toolbar. It looks like a bouncing ball with the letters HK on it. 3) Yes. You need to use Snap-to-grid and ensure that your tile pieces aren't rotated. Edit one tile piece and make sure its rotation settings are 0,0,0. Then hold down the Shift & Q buttons. Move the red cross hair over a tile and double click when the cross hair turns white to set the snap reference. Now, by moving your other pieces, they should snap tightly to this one. Just make sure your other tiles aren't rotated either. You can set the snap distance by clicking the icon that looks like a hand holding a piece of paper. For most tiles, I find 128 works best for this setting. Once you have your first tile in place properly, its better to use Cntl-D to duplicate the tile and Cntl-F to (Find) and replace it with another, than it is to continually drag new pieces from the object window.
