Serathi
I have created my own weapon for Oblivion including texturing, collision, making my own plugin file, puting the weapon in oblivion with TES Construction set and everything. my problem now is figuring out how to make my character grab the sword by the hilt and not at the center of the entire sword. i have tried relocating the swords center in NifScope and also Relocating centers of the meshes in Blender but with no effect. anyone knows how to fix that? thanks for your time. :)
TabuKuroshi
We are having the same problem lol. I've been looking into it, I saw a tutorial on youtube. They mentioned the hilt, they said something about it causing issues on the placement in the hand. I can't remember what it was in reference to. I just have to find the darn thing now... If I come up with something before you get answer I'll let you know!
alonsomartinez
OOH you have to lign up the vanilla weapns with your own weapon SO in blender have your mesh ready and imported then import a vanilla weapon. If your sword is a longsword then import a lonngsword. Then move your sword over the vanilla sword and make sure thet are alligned.Check the side , top and front views to be sure. Then delete all the vanilla stuff until you are left with just your model and then you export. If you cant do it I would be happy to do it for yoiu
