Changing Vanilla Map To Colour Map, Help Me Please

I downloaded Elven Cartographer to add some spice to my game; however, i can't seem to get it working. I

 

know that the files are in the correct folders, infact i've done it manually to make sure. The author of this

 

mod mentioned that i need to add the file paths to "ArchiveInvalidation.txt" which i have (and i've looked at

 

the files to make sure its all written correctly). I've also tried to make a new one with the added:

 

[ElvenCartographers] and [Elven Cartographers] to see if it works. I'm still not getting the cool colour map

 

that I should get from this mod. I'm not savy in this area, so can someone please give me some advice or

 

give me a link to information pertaining to this.
