yeldarb Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Before you have to return the game to the store for a refund, in Documents\My Games\Oblivion there is a file named Oblivion and it is the configuration settings for the game-Delete it and see if the game will start. You may have to reset your screen resolution, but the game should start and go to the main loding screen where you can start a new game. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy playing Oblivion.EDIT Read your edit, you may have dirt/dust build up inside your cd/dvd drive. Read the manual for your computer and try to clean the drive.
