Zalamandrus
hi, i tried to create a daedroth race using the textures, meshes, sounds and animations of oblivion, and the PLAYABLE NPC AND CREATURES MOD , i read the tutorial and with my little and poor experience i was able to "create" the daedroth race, but for some reason i can't edit the script spell for the creation race (aaaExampleCharGenScript) that is given by the mod, and second, i have glitches with the textures or meshes, i think, and i can't figure out what's wrong. if someone with more experience in modding, scripting or else could help me i'd appreciate it. thank you. Here is a screenshot taken by me showing the daedroth in game and the glitches that i mentioned before.

Kalizar
I have no experience with this sorta thing, but did you set the playable creatures mod as an active file? If not, you're facing a problem I faced, and recently found out about. It's where if you edit any things from another .esp file in another active .esp it does not save the changes to the game. So, copy & paste the default script into a new script, and rename it. Then, you should be able to script it. I don't know much about the mesh error, but that may be related to the scripting as well. If not, just look back over the tutorial and find what went wrong.
Zalamandrus
there's no "playable creatures mod.esp" the only file that is shared by the .esp of the mod is "race repository.esm". And yes, it's activated obviously. If you copy the script into a new one, wouldn't have the same script duplicated?
