Heavens Blade
I'm having trouble finding a good video card under $100 that can run oblivion on pc pretty well. anyone got recomendations for a gamer in need :(
Marxist ßastard
...A vanilla GeForce 6800, or maybe a used Radeon X1600 Pro. The 6800 is cheaper and slightly faster, while the X1600 will let you do HDR+AA.
Ice_Dragon
I am using the GeForce 6600 with 256MB on baord memory. This cost me a hundred and works brilliant.
Marxist ßastard
The 6600GT is around the same price as the vanilla 6800, performs somewhat worse in Oblivion, and has more-or-less zero chance of modification -- if that's what's up your alley. Heavens Blade
umm im looking for one less than a $100. it says on bestbuy.com the a geforce 6600gt costs $
Marxist ßastard
That's way too much. You're getting ripped off. For comparison, you can get an X1600 Pro -- which was the more expensive of the cards I recommended -- off of NewEgg for $US99, or less if you follow-up on the manufacturer's rebates. Marxist ßastard
That's a Radeon 9800SE, so no. Absolutely not. Why are you looking at AGP cards, anyways?
