minion5 Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 The only game world that I can think of that I found more unique and awsome then The Elder Scrolls is Oddworld. I mean from the huge industrial machinery envirnments, like Rupture Farms, to the scary and very untamed wilderness, Oddworld is soooo deep in creativeness and art. To me it would be the perfect freeroam game. Just think of walking around in the ancient wilderness as a mud-something (Abes race, can't remember their name). You hear rustleing near by. You see a pack of Scrabs charging at you! You quickly use your possessive abilities to take one under your command to hold the others off while you run away. I mean I just think it would be really awsome. Even though Oddworld isnt so rich in Lore just yet (company has only made like 4 games, each of which only covers minimal universe lore) it would still be one of the coolest settings for an open world game in my opinion.
