(New) Cheaper Combat Magic

Hi, I wanted to ask if someone could make a new mod, that reduces the cost of Combat Magic to 25 (or 20/30) instead of 50.

The old one does not work with Awakening and/or 1.03 and I want to play my Arcane Warrior in a Gandalfish fashion.

Robes or light/medium armor, good casting and decent melee with a 2hander.

This is not really possible with vanilla, because 50 fatigue totally gimps casting, and turning it off, makes me hit nothing.

I would like to do it on my own, but I am totally unable to grasp that damn Toolset. ;)

Well it does not for me sadly. And other people seem to have the same problem. Perhaps it's mod incompatibility or simply bad luck on my part, who knows?

Did you install it with damodder, or did you just put it into override? I did the latter, because I use mod manager (which can't install zip archives, afaik) and only one manager works at a time for me.

Well, thanks for bringing that up spartan. I checked Combat Tweaks folder, if it contains the same file, that alters Combat Magic, and found nothing.

But, in a totally spontaneous mood, put aforementioned file into that folder myself, and now it works.

Why it did not work, when it was in the core override folder, I don't understand, but I don't care either. It works! Hell yes! :biggrin:
