Hey there guys i'm swordfish, known as CjayS42 on Wattpad. I post my stories and poetry there. As this is the Druid's garden, a place for sharing such things, I decided to do a little advertising. here's my account link.

Here's an excerpt from my most popular story, The Shadow Dancer.

 

<I love the cold, rushing embrace of the air as it gently caresses my arms, like a mother with her child.>

(I don’t)

<I love how my hair and clothes flow silently behind me, like a bird in the breeze>

(I don’t)

<I love the adrenaline, the excitement, the joy, that makes me feel so alive!>

(Well you’re not going to be alive for much longer, because if you haven’t noticed, we’re falling off a building into moving traffic.)

 

Rose disregarded this. Why should death get in the way of her fun?

 

(Got any brilliant ideas?)

<I thought this was pretty good… it gave them the slip didn’t it?>

(Out of the frying pan into the fire if you ask me…)

<Well I’m not, so keep your thoughts to yourself>

(It is difficult to hide your thoughts from something inside your own head.)

<You’re in my head>

(Details details! Flying traffic, 12 o’clock!)

The Shadow Dancer is a Sci-fi/action/Mystery set in the future, in the decaying and corrupt city of Arelis. It has a lot of postive reviews and the first chapter is pushing 2500 reads.

 

I have another story, Twin flames, a dark Fantasy/Romance, which i wrote to please the ridiculous amount of teenage girls on wattpad :biggrin:

I also have a variety of poetry...which is quite personal to myself and i don't like discussing it much. read it if you want, i don't mind.

This gives me the feel of some Anime type story where I'm able to peer into the mind of a character, just before they wake up from their daydream by the sudden and loud ringing of a telephone, or by the doors of the train suddenly opening or by being shaken by a friend or collegue - "hey ... hey", they call "wake up, are you day dreaming aagain" ?

Actually, her thoughts are consistent like this throughout the story. And she doesnt wake up or anything, this is another 'casual' day :tongue:
