Below is a SS, proving that you should never hap hazardly click a link regardless of how much it might seem be to legit. If you notice it looks legit, but the link will send you to a random site. In this case it seems that they are merely trying to get your password. But it could also be a site that uses java to install a virus.

Yes, my mom encountered a fake email from an Iraqi Oil Merchant who had found out that he was just about to die:

Really? £15, 000, 000, 00? Of course its a fake, directing to harmfull sites that take money from our bank. These are obviously made-up, but so many people believe them.
