Custom Class => Custom .dds Image

Okay am I doing something wrong, or to make custom images for custom classes are completely impossible?

I converted the jpg to the dds,(I did the same resolution, same filesize, same mipmap nr. as the originals) I created esp for the custom class, in the CS I linked the new image dss in the class set up to the new class, all the three (menus,menus50,menus80) are in the correct folder and still nothing. On the top of this when i make custom image for an existing class it works beautifully, but when i choose this modified existing class' dds image for the new class, then again still nothing... GGGRRRRRR

Please help!

i made my own class once only i simply remade a class in the cs and traded the old .dds for a new one i made my self..musch like you did renaming a jpeg to .dds, and it worked perfectly but i tired of the idea after a while...sorry i realise this is no help at all,and unfortunately i am not a modder. but you should find a modder on the TESS files and PM one who has done race/class related things before and ask very kindly for assistance...thats the only advice i can give you. sorry. good luck :) :)

Well if you download ANY class mod, you will see they ALL come without custom pics....?????

Why???? Because NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO DO IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH....... (Scream is over..., I died like a miserable goblin without class pic)

On the elderscrolls.com Ive received this solution, it did work, although the right side of my custom pic covers some of the text of the right, i think it is something to the with the alpha channel or wathever...? Thank you anyway it was a great help Shin-Anubis, thank you!!!

Well, after some thoughts I came to a solution... To be honest it is not the best solution but at least it is one. It seems to be a fact that you can't use custom images for your custom class because of a bug or whatever... Well, then let's turn the table. Give your image files in the folders (menu, menu50, menu80 and stats) the name of an original image, duplicate an existing class and delete the image path in the original class sheet. But don't delete the original class because some NPCs use it... Then adjust your duplicated class and viola... Now one of the existing classes won't have an image but your custom class will have... If you wanna play an original class, just disable your mod and vice versa... I will do that, maybe you to"
