Hotieadin Posted July 7, 2010 Share Posted July 7, 2010 I am having the same issue I have killed all the Guards in the and the Elite Night Guard group. Bann Perrin just has the quest mark over his head but I am unable to click on him or his 2 guards standing next to him. I have even tried it now in 4 different run thru and still having the same problem. There is no option to leave the body or the stolen goods that is for the other quest line. I think the chantry bits tie into Bann Perrin (judging by the note) but I have not figured it out yet. I just got done watching a run thru on the first part of Leiliana song on Youtube a xbox360 version. It showed the guards auto attacked when you entered that area of the castle. Thandal Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Anyone have any suggestions how we can get past this part or do we have a problem with our download or installation of the dlc?I'm not sure what's keeping his guards from attacking you when you wander up to him, (not "clicking" on him or his escort, just approaching them) as long as you've already made any of the other guards hostile. Even if I've activated "Stealth" and am attempting just to loot the chest in the far corner while holding my companions outside the courtyard, they still flip to "Get 'em!" and go red when I get too close to them. :turned: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hotieadin Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 I finally got it fixed I had to rename my Bioware folder in the Library Doctuments folders. Started the game back up and it made a new Bioware folder in the Library/Documents. Then I reinstalled just the DLC Leliana's song and I was able to get the dlc to work properly. Ehlendrial Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the tip Hotieadin!I was having the same issue with my DLC as well and tried the alternate Documents folder but did it a little differently so I wouldn't lose my mods and console goodies and it is working just fine now. 1. Rename the Bioware folder in "My Documents", I used Bioware_2. Start DAO and it creates the new Bioware folder for you.3. Close out DAO4. Re-Install your DLC so it goes to the new Bioware folder5. Copy the new DragonAge folder inside the new Bioware folder and paste it into the Original folder you renamed so it overwrites the DragonAge folder in there6. Delete new Bioware and rename the Original back to Bioware7. Your DLC should be working now Also something to note I do not have "Slinks S3 Random Items" mod installed (which has been reported as having issues with Leliana's Song) so I have no idea what was causing the issue for me in the first place *boggles* Hope this helps anyone else who might be having the same issue!
