The game runs really choppily on my system, and I'm wondering what exactly my PC's weak spots are. My specs are:

  •
  • Processor: AMD Athlon 7550 Dual-Core Processor w/ Clock Speed of 2508 MHz and 2.87 GB physical memory
  • Display Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 w/ 128MB of VRAM
  • OS: Vista Home Premium (32 bit)

Whatever the problem is, is there a relatively cheap way to make the game run more smoothly (I don't have a lot of money)? I have all the video settings at low, with Anti-aliasing off.

Thanks, and sorry if this is a dumb question, I don't play a lot of PC games.

I' ve got a similar problem

It runs smoodly in the biginning but after I choose a king/ Queen the game runs very slow (moving, taking and afflicting damage,...)

I would suggest when you play games of this caliber, (that are this graphics driven) that you have at least 1 gig of ram. I currently have 2 gigs. This will help immensely even if you choose to run with just min video specs.

GL
