sqigg
Using FO3Edit, is there a way to copy (or merge)hairs from one mod to another? I have Hair Pack and Ashara's Hair Conversions installed, and Ashara's cancels out HP. I would really like to be able to use both of the mods (just hairs). Thanks in advance. Purr4me
Using FO3Edit, is there a way to copy (or merge)hairs from one mod to another? Thanks in advance.yes, two stages are required. load only the two mods and their dependents, no other mods.Ashara's hair, you can add a "prefix" to all it's internal data, the beginning of each line can change, if this takes place, all the data in that plugin now becomes unique .This is done with apply script when you right click the last plugin or the one you want merged into the other.after you have changed the data and have saved the plugin, please run the game and verify the changes are indeed in place before investing any more time into the project. NOTE: you can not upload these files or share them, the reason is, the files "External name" is still the same through out the world.nothing you have will match anyth9ing but whats on your system. ok...so far if you succeed, you will have two sets of hair viewed in the imagery in game. Character creation should show all the hair sets from both mods. if so...you can now use the FO3Java Utility to merge the files....fo3edit will chop off needed bits you need for hair so you can't merge these kinds of files. But you can merge them in the foi3utility and not chop anything. Because the prefix name inside the files structure is now different, this should work well. if you do it right, you'll have a very slick / clean file. kitty
