cyberhshaman69
I've seen this question posed on a few forums, with no answers provided. I'm trying to run OBGEv2 but it's not happening. None of the shaders are working, and they don't seem to want to turn on.I can access the support ESP just fine within the inventory, but I cannot make any of the shaders active. The dump in the OBSE.log file shows the following line:"plugin C:\Games\Morroblivion\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\\OBGEv2.dll (00000001 OBGEv2 00000003) reported as incompatible during query" I am suspicious of the double-backslash in the path...: "\\OBGEv2.dll" - could that have something to do with it?It would seem that OBSE is unable to load the OBGE dll, hence all of its functions fail.I don't know where the source of the problem lies, but I can easily see this as some kind of bug in Windows 7 path functions, since others using different systems can run OBGE just fine. OBSE loader is set to run as Admin, btw. I'm running the following:Oblivion GOTY (retail, non-Steam) v1.2.0416 (Both Ko9 and SI installed)OBSE: obse_1_2_416OBGE: version 18 beta 6 My system information is:Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1 build 7600)Video: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470DirectX: version 11 Anyone have the answer to this? Tomlong54210
Get the latest version of OBSE, v18 stable. Did you remove the OBGE.dll if you have it? You should probably post in the official thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1102453-oblivion-graphics-extender-thread-16/page__st__20__p__16140507__hl__Oblivion%20Graphics%20Extender__fromsearch__1entry16140507
Argomirr
That happens if you don't have the right DirectX libraries. There's a link in the thread - you may even have to download them if you already have a newer version. I had to, at least.

OBGEv2 requires DirectX 9.0c, and apparently these Win7 comps with DX11 have DX9 DLLs but are missing those of 9.0c.
