Hi.

I helped Growlf to create a Body Resizing Mod for Oblivion.

And now i was trying to do the same for Fallout.

Now after first tests, i am able to create things like that.

Big Ass

Slim and Tall

or maybe Fat

You could change nearly everything that you want.

Is there a similar Mod out there?

LOL that image shares ADs might scare the prudes

I think you're first, I have not seen anything close to what you achieved (at least on Nexus FO3 site) and I suggest you release a WIP mod to claim the spot for this kind of modification.

Secondly to make a difference to "one size fits all syndrome" for modern games this is a god gift if you can make it simply usable. To improve the immersion of FO3 and to make a lot of people you meet fat, slim, tall, chubby, fat bottomed or whatever (instead of the just two standard types of body size) will create a remarkable impact on the game play.

The only close is some projects to make different body types available due to that you can create different "races" in FO3 with a unique setup of .NIF files for the body (actually I run around with one Type3 Alice mesh and one Breeze girl body mesh companion that is totally unique to what ever body meshes I run in the main game) also there is a mod that keep track of body mesh used (FEM and Project D). SickleYield created some unique body type meshes for chubby, thin, medium and so on for both genders a long time ago but sadly got pore positive response for all her work, I only know one mod that used one of her different body types. So what you have done is AFAIK unique for FO3.

I have just fast skimmed a time ago what you and Growlf did in OB regarding this and if it is possible to make similar things in FO3 and you like positive attention grip a hold on this and for sure this will be a mod of the month

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, i would it keep simple. Over a menu you could change any bodypart that you want.

And i try to do that without FOSE or other programms so realy everybody could use it.

The goal is to get rid of the different type3 body styles. You only need one Body and if you wanr it slim, change it ingame.

These changes are easy and all clothes that you wear get the same bodystyle that you want.

Now we have the base shapes of the Body.

That four pics show you, what you could change ingame.

Any high between the tallest and smallest size and any thicknes between the fat and skinny pic.

You could also mix it, if you want fat and tall, do it. Or if you want normal high and smaller hips, do it.

There is still one cloth and body and no fose in use.

I think, it is compatible with every cloth or body that ever released.

Next step are complede body types, a one klick action.

And for some modders the opinion to create highheels without cut off the legs, feet and stuff like that.

That change the high too.

We read us.

Nice, I love the progress! I still puzzled that not more people jump in and comment, it must be the summer vacations or your low profile header name for this topic that makes people not realize how big this is.

Since this is so amazing I did some research in OB file share and the technique used to achieve it, kind of fun read about what you can do with it. The only part that was not clear is how persistent a modified body will be. If you modify a lot of people in game, will you need to keep updating them to stay in the modified form for save/load to work?

I loved that ability in Oblivion and was actually looking for this very thing the other day for FO3. In my case I was trying to make an NPC for my game and it struck me funny how I could adjust all his attributes and attitudes and adjust his speech to get a certain type of interaction, but could not do anything about his overall size. If I want to make a big aggressive NPC that people are intimidated by then I want the body style to match. Excellent idea and excellent work.

Thank you for the reply, its always nice to have some.

Yes, it is crazy.

I was hoping there would be more interesting people for this, but it seem they dont like it or dont understand what i do.

Maybe, the most of that think - Oh boring, another body mod or a mod that change some armors and stuff like that.

You see in the pictures not enough to get a full overlook how strong that would change the Fallout NPC universum.

But now back to the Mod.

The first release would be a Player only mod. It dont change other NPC.

Maybe in the future or if the people like it, i create much more Types.

I think one of the biggest benefits will be to other modders. It would be nice to give NPC's in mods a little more "character" by changing body types depending on the NPC or mod itself. I think it would add to the immersion qualities of some well made mods. I so wish I could go the 3d stuff, but alas it is a bit beyond my knowledge level.
