Mod help/new to Mods

Hello, I am new to this modding business but not to gaming. So I recently got DA:O for PC and I wanted to use some mods. Problem is the ones that I really want wont work with DAModder, for example I really want a Leliana face mod from the trailer but the ones I have tried to add say that they were not made with DAModder or something like that. The one I am really interested in is this one http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/666/? but it wont add to DAModder, is there any way I or the person who made it could fix that? Or are there any Leliana mods that work with DAModder? Or any other mods that work with DAModder? Thanks!

No, DAModder can't handle facemorphs.

But as the mod author explains in the Description, you just place these in your "\override" folder yourself.

===============INSTALLATION===================

drop the file in the
"\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override"
folder in your computer

See this article: Using DA Mods for Dummies.

Oh okay thanks. If I may while I have you here. The mods that are in the Official Mods tab in DAModder are those already installed and will be in the game? Thanks. Also this override folder is part on my DA folder correct? When I download a mod do I just drag it into that folder? I just skimmed over the installing mods part but didn't see anything about that.

I don't have an override folder just a core. Am I supposed to make the override myself?

Ummm...

a) DAModder is the least capable of the managers out there. I don't use it, so can't speak to its layout.

b) The "\override" folder is under your "\Documents" (or "\My Documents", if you're stuck back on WinXP.) This is exactly as described by the author of the mod you mentioned when he spelled-out the path for you to install his mod in the Installation Instructions he provided. (Can you tell that I don't appreciate people asking questions when they obviously haven't read the information already given to them?)

c) Did you read the article about using DA mods that I linked? Obviously not, or you would know that there are many different types of mods for DA, each of which has to be installed appropriately.

Apologies, I did read over some of the link you gave and I just read that part on the description for the mod. However there is no need to get mad or upset with some one asking questions. But as I edited in my other post I do not have an override folder, am I supposed to make that myself? Also I have Windows 7. Crap sorry just saw override was in core. My apologies. Please don't burn me.

Third time: The answer to your question is in the article I linked.

RTFM!

The vast majority of DA mods fall into the next category.

c) "Everything Else". A mod might be a ".mor" for a new face, or a ".cut" for a new animation scene. It might be a ".dlg" with new dialogue, or a ".ss" with new voices. If the mod's instructions say, "Place in your override folder." it does not need to be "installed". As the instruction indicates, simply place it in the folder named "override" located under: "C:/[user's documents]/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core".

NOTE 1: If this folder does not exist, (which may be the case if this is your very first mod) just create it.

Sir or Madam could you please relax. there is no need to use what ever RTFM means..I read it as maybe meaning Read The F@#king Message. May not be what you meant..but from the way you posted it that is how I read it.
