Random freezing

My game keeps freezing up at random intervals in Fallout 3 when I start the game through FOSE. If I don't use FOSE then the game works fine, but I believe that some mods won't work unless I start it using FOSE so 'don't use FOSE' wouldn't be quite a helpful response. I have installed FOSE as the instructions tell me to and so I don't think it would be an installation issue. I can play for hours on end without loading Fallout 3 through FOSE, but once I do then it can freeze the game up 5 minutes from start-up to about an hour from start up. Is there any way to fix this? If it helps, I'm using a Vista.

Archive Invalidation Invalidated is for missing meshes or texture problems, not random freezing while using FOSE.

 

It sounds to me like a mod that uses FOSE has some bad scripting. The reason it will work without FOSE is that scripts that use FOSE commands when FOSE isn't loaded will fail to run, thus avoiding the scripting issue that is causing the freeze. Most likely there is an endless loop somewhere in one of the FOSE scripts in one of your mods as endless loops cause freezes. I would start by removing all your mods that require FOSE and adding them back one-at-a-time and checking for the freeze after each. Once you find out which mod causes the freeze, you can just remove that mod.
