is it illegal because i have seen quite a bit done on here for dragon age, but when i read up on forums on oblivion or was it fallout forum on here it says it illegal unless u modify the armor a bit or create from scratch

also if it not illegial i would not mind a tutorial or 2 for armor convertion, i have the .nif file but i know the models have to be smaller for dragon age to fit

thanks

Example:

If you convert something that comes with the came when you first buy it, not modded (ie: vanilla) then it is illegal.

So, say you buy a game on a Monday - Fallout 3, Monday night you find modding tools, and decide to take the Power armour and convert it to work with another game you own - Dragon Age: Origins.

That, is illegal.

Now:

So, say you buy a game on a Monday - Fallout 3, Monday night you find modding tools, and on tuesday morning you find mods and download a power armour mod that is created entirely by the user, meshes, textures, sound... the whole thing, everything is new. Now you decide to take that Power armour and convert it to work with Dragon Age: Origins.

That, is legal. But should only be done with the orginal mod creators permission.

Anything that comes with the game when you first buy it, is illegal to convert\rip from that game.
