vTemporalZEROv
This is not advertisement, idc if you download it or not, I mod for fun and what I want in the game, I upload the mods I do (so far only on NV nexus) because I know that there are other people like me that want the stuff I want in the game as well. This is legitimately me asking for opinions on what I should or should not add to the mod I am currently working on, that is all. *THIS MOD IS NOT NEARLY FINISHED, BUT WANTED SOME FEEDBACK WHILE I AM WORKING ON IT* Anyways, to the point, I am working on a player home mod and would like to see what the community is looking for in it compared to what I want in it. It is a submarine playerhome in a completely unused area far behind Rivet City's ship. It is a bit cliche "Oh lemme stick it where everyone does" BUT there is one reason I did so: It is ideal, I was gonna put it by the Anchorage memorial in that cove type of area, but it is a rather large playerhome so I figured logically it could not fit under the bridge that the Enclave and BOS fight on during project purity's quest. So it is far in the back of the map, by some land that is very unused, I felt rather ashamed there was nothing on this land since it is kinda large and out of the way, a bit hidden to be exact. If the submarine were in an open area like all of the other submarine home mods, then wouldn't it be infested with raiders or a home already to someone? This submarine, the USS Temporal Seeker, was in the bay when the bombs were dropped on DC and there is info on its backstory and info about it on a terminal inside. It was disabled, the security/repair robot onboard the sub was EMP'd as a result of the radioactive waves hitting the sub, all power was lost and only a little surge of power was left. The crew used it to type one last status report in hopes of getting a response which never came, and in hopes of escaping the harbor - with no luck, the sub was grounded on a large sandbar and the crew was left to fate's hand. 200 years later the player finds it and takes it into their own hands to continue to live where the old man that lived in it before can be found. Comes with the essentials for a scrappy, worn down, survivalist's home. There is a map marker added to it as well that you can see on the map, after you reach it you may travel to it any time :) REQUIRES POINT LOOKOUT DLC------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My questions for you, the reader, are:1. Should I make a small, dead (the bodies of the crew) settlement beside the sub as if they survived for like a few weeks? 2. Should the water be irradiated inside? (there is only a small amount of water in the very bottom of the sub) 3. It is a covert, special operations sub - what kind of loot should be onboard? 4. Would you prefer it be destroyed looking inside or clean? It was not bombed nor has it been opened due to it being locked (average level) so no scavengers have been in it, but it IS tilted about 30 degrees backwards and is slightly tilted on its side. 5. I was gonna have two ghouls locked inside for you to kill when you unlock it and enter, they were two of the crew, should I leave them there or no? I do not usually make mods for other people, I make them for myself and upload them here incase people want them as well, but I am making this for other people this time since I wanted a submarine home mod but all of them kinda suck that are uploaded on here (just my opinion) -not counting the one that isn't a playerhome- So that is why I am asking ye these questions. Any feedback would be nice, hate OR opinions are accepted, both may help me with this.
