Arkath
So, I'll start a game...everything is fine. However, after a certain amount of time (lvl5-9ish?) my save game becomes corrupt. I always have to kill myself upon loading a game, so I can save without CTDing. However, in certain areas I can't even do that. Rivet City, Tenpenny Tower, and Megaton in particular, rivet city inside and out, Tenpenny outside, and the outside of Megaton. Also: I'm on the quest "A trail of crumbs..." from a mod, and am at the Raider infested Cliff (to avoid spoilers. I assume you know what I mean). It will crash based on time inside the area. Outside is fine. I can run as fast as I can inside, from either entrance, and it times out. movetoqt and tcl help, but it does it in the next one, and I assume Mama's too. I have all my mods installed correctly, all the required resources (FOSE, Archiveinvalidation, FOMM, etc). I have a ton of mods running, and about 5-7 that FOMM will not recognize (Aerfu Expanded, Seargent RL-3 Sentry Class, etc), obviously not running, but in my Data folder. Also, I cannot leave Megaton. It crashes to blackscreen after loading the outside (i;E, I never see the outside. it crashes to black screen after the little clock finishes) I tried the FO3 trick, but did it wrong the first time and have since lost where it told me how to do it correctly. krimzin
try turning off auto and quick saves. Sometimes your save gets screwy and they cause instant CTD. Which would be explained by the CTDs when entering or exiting places.
